Had ECU tested said that the software on it is for a diesel as it shows a erg low reading.

Did you have it scanned for those faults and it showed codes for the ECU before you got it tested ? Was it not an EGR as opposed to ERG ?

Any resolution from anyone asking as daughters car has been the same for 6 months. Drives fine and cannot locate a fault code. Diagnostics is unable to communicate with the airbag module though as this light has also come on. ???
