2008 Ford Galaxy i have just had a new engine put it and when i started it up today it revved its self and blows out a lot of white smoke what could be the problem.lf

You dont say what engine , petrol or diesel . But whatever , white smoke and accelerating as you describe , is USUALLY a major fault . If a new engine , should be under warranty by whoever supplied and fitted it so take it back for fixing
