Ford Focus Battery Problems

Hi. Cold day, went to start the car, wont turn over and the warning light comes up saying "ACCELERATION REDUCTION". Have left it a while to warm in the sun but it still wont turn over. Any ideas? Battery?

i have renewed the speedo sensor on my focus but the still have the same problem of irratic needles any sugestions my battery seems to be fine
