Speedo/rev needles vibrate, dash lights go out, car wont start

any help/advice would be appreciated,

sometimes when i turn the ignition the cars lights go out on the dash and the central locking unlocks(tries too) even though im in the car, and the engine does not turn over?

anyone go any ideas?

First thing I would do is get battery tested .
