Ford C-MAX loud growling from front wheel hub

It is getting louder. Drivers side front wheel hub. Its not brake related, sounds like a wheel bearing problem but, doesn't act like a bearing problem.

Probably a wheel bearing or a driveshaft worn . How does " doesn't act like a bearing problem " apply ?
