just recently started to hear a high pitch screeching sound coming from the front wheel not all the time it comes and goes

Firstly check the cv joint on the drive shaft...
Then check to make sure that the wheel bearing has not collapsed...

sounds like a brake problem. check to make sure wheel rotates freely as it could be a pad sticking or even a fault with the caliper

Sounds like a wheel bearing, jack car up and hold wheel at each side then top and bottom and try to move (Steering lock on) If it moves then your bearing has probably collapsed. DON'T drive your car if this is the case the wheel and hub could come off at speed.

did that as the wheel was moving sound like the brake was rubbing did check aalso to make sure it was not the bearingbut wheel did'nt move
