2010 Citroen DS3 wipers going and light flash for a few minutes after turning the car off

When I turn the car off, even after removing the key and locking the car, the wipers go on their own and the front headlights flash on and off for a few minutes.this stops when ignition is turned on, but when I turn the car off and remove key it keeps happening

There have been some cases where a low car battery has caused this , might be worth checking the battery / voltage and charging / replacing if needed before getting too involved . If not that , many different possible causes that would mean getting a diagnostic scan carried out with proper scanner that covers all circuits / modules
