Battery Problems

whenever i use the central locking on my car i can hear a 'ticking' noise. Dont know if this is usual or not, but when i go to to unlock the car, theres enough battery to unlock it but not to start the engine anyone know how to fix this?

hi im having problems with my central locking i can only open and lock the car the car by putting the key in the lock the fob not working i changed the battery and the fuse but no joy any ideas what might be wrong.
