2014 Volkswagen Polo Problems

The car has problem changing gears, it would rev to a high number without changing (it’s automatic) and now the engine light has popped on

A small amount of paint work from the front of the car has came off

Seems to have short to earth clutch switch is new so is brake light switch

had the car checked out at a garage they said timing chain was stretched so I've changed the chain got all the timing correct started the car & it wasn't ticking over properly & wouldn't rev about 2500. Haven't done a compression test yet b...

There's a big like click or ding noise when putting the handbrake down and going into reverse. Especially ifit he the was parked on an incline.
