2004 Vauxhall Zafira starting fault

When I turn the ignition key, the car won't start. The dash lights and headlights are all working.
If I get someone to push the car, it will then start.

might be a faulty starter motor but you will have to get the wiring to it checked before you condemn it as it may be a poor connection or wiring faault to the starter

Get your battery tested , any fast fit centre or car accessory shop will do it f.o.c while you wait . If o.k , take " wiggy4170's " advice .Could also check earth strap from engine / gearbox to body .
