Vauxhall Zafira engine overheat warning stop emediatly.

AA reset fault code and all is fine. Engine not overheated. Exhaust gas temp sensor identified as faulty by diagnostics but works fine once error is deleated. Now loosing confidence 2nd time this has happened. Will replace sensor but not confident it won't happen again.

Replace the sensor before getting too involved , hopefully cures the fault
