2003 Vauxhall Zafira light on dash of car with spanner threw it

im having problems with my zafira i had the egr valve replaced afew months ago and now i get this new problem coming up with this light i got the car in september last year and had a new stereo fitted shortly after and ever since then this light has been coming on when i turn the key in the ignition could the stereo be at fault or is it something more serious

not sure if it is any help but when i start mine first thing in the morning it also apears on dash board of my zafira only 5 to 15 seconda i rev it and it goes out i had a new battery fitted and had to remove the radio this has only happened since i removed the radio it was ok before hand i might remove it and put it back in again see what happens.

I experienced similar problem after changing the resistor for the fan (blower) in my vectra 2.0 DTI.
