Parking sensor issue

PARKING DISTANCE CONTROL MODULE 22810361 on the diagnostics said its faulty I have replaced the unit twice and it now says with both the replacement parking units but it shows on the screen as service parking assistant when you press the parking switch it just flashes then says service vehicle i have replaced this unit with my original one and it works fine but the service light comes up. This all started since I changed the battery Anybody had this issue on theirs.
