2007 Vauxhall Zafira immobiliser

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2007
Variant: 1.8 auto
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
My key fob had stopped working and had the battery changed but still not unlocking or deactivating the immobiliser.

I can use the key to open the door but nothing works at all.

Does the immobiliser stop the interior lights coming on when the doors opened? Could that battery have gone hens the locks not opening from the key fob.

Sorry for a lame question I haven't a clue about cars.

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the car battery ? tried a jump start ? If there is nothing in car battery it wont open door locks but drivers side door will be opened manually with key .Looks like may be flat car battery .
