2005 Vauxhall Zafira battery won't charge

My Zafira wouldn't start. The battery light was on, so I got it a new battery. It started up fine, then after a few minutes the battery light came on again. I tested it, and the battery was not charging. I thought it must be the alternator - the belt was fine - and bought a new one. I fitted it...... and the battery is still not charging!
What am I missing? Can anyone think what the problem might be?

Check the wiring / plug connector .
