2004 Vauxhall Zafira car wont start

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.0 dti elegance manual
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Been having trouble with alarm going off randomly or when door is opened. Went off at 4am this morning, only way to shut it up is to start ignition. Car is turning over but not actually firing up. Tried it several times today and doing the same. Only had the car three days.

Contact previous owner for any hints ?Looks like you got alarm / immobiliser fault , could check for broken wiring at door .

change battery in key fob as it may be flat and not communicating with the immobilliser. could be a faulty secondary alarm unit located behind the drivers side inner wheel liner, they are a battery backed up unit and start playing up when the batteries are dying. sealed unit so batteries cannot be replaced. just unplug it.
