2006 Vauxhall Zafira central locking working intermittently also unable to use key to lock doors

Car: Vauxhall Zafira
Year: 2006
Variant: 1.8
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Hi i have a problem with my central locking it was working intermittently but i was unable to lock the car now i'm unable to lock the car at all. When i leave the car it makes the bleeping noise as if the key is still in the ignition and then when i try locking it wont.
I've checked the wires in doors there all fine, I've checked fuses and battery but all fine. I've tried the card behind the battery but again no change.
Please Help

have you checked your ignition barrel? i had a similar problem on my car the key would release and come out but wouldnt lock on the key a jiggle on the key usually worked when taking the key out feel for a click as the barrel disengages and a bit of wd40 in the barrel. also check the wiring on the passenger side rear door i work part time in a garage and i have worked on a few zafiras the wiring inside the rubber gaiter has a habit of breaking try there hope this helps
