can anyone help me my car is shaking under acceleration over 30mph, but as soon as i take my foot off the accelerator it stops, its been doing it for a few months now I just cant seem to find the problem,i have changed the wheels, had the front arms, and ball joints checked they seem to be fine, it had a new dual mass flywheel changed 9 months ago by the previous owner, it has been suggested it could be the mass flywheel but im not having any problems with the clutch, the shaking is coming from the front of the car, it is a sideward shaking,

yeah! well kind of the man at the garage reved the car, and was going fast and breaking hard and said if it was the engine mount, the engine would move, think he wants to charge me for parts and labour for a dual mass flywheel

Easiest way would to put handbrake on , into gear and let up clutch whilst watching to see if engine kicks .Could be the DMF but strange it should go so quick .Driveshafts been checked ?

Sure it,s nothing in the drive train ,such as c.v. Joint or bearing or wheel imbalance?Something wrong if your doing another DMf.
