i have replaced the starter motor but it is still clicking the motor is getting hot but all leads are as sould be traced wires earth looks ok tested motor off car and it seems to work put it back on and it clicks can any one help

Checked the earth from the engine / g/box to body is clean and tight ?

cleaned conections the car was turning over but refusing to start the starter doesnt sound any ideas

Not to sure what you mean with " the starter doesnt sound " as you also say it's turning over .Check crankshaft sensor .

the starter doesnt sound right it seems to turn over then jam if i rock the car in gear it will turn over a gain i have just changed sensor

I have just put on a brand new starter motor it turned over twice and now just clicking again iv checked the two solenoid wires removed and cleaned earth cable but it might be broken where would be the best place to put anew wire from engine to battery or battery to body
