When I’ve drove for 5/10minutes something kicks in and start running quite noisily but I don’t know what it is !!
When I stop at junctions/lights it carries on when the engine is just idling ! It even carries on after I’ve turned off the engine and the engine has stopped.
The noise is louder than the engine !

If it's a diesel , it sounds like it's the DPF regenerating .Usually a loud roar / fan noise and heat , burning smell . If you ran it a bit further it would have completed the cycle whilst driving
