1999 Vauxhall Vectra no power on start up

Car: Vauxhall Vectra
Year: 1999
Variant: sr i
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
lately on start up, the car starts first time but has NO power to move it takes about 5 minutes to warm up before kicking in.
Even then it sometimes shudders and the power dies,
New spark plugs have been put in.
Had a "diagnostic" test and found nothing

Once running it takes a while to get full power, Foot flat and get about 30mph

Runs fine after a while with full power

Thanks for any help

Possibly ECT (engine coolant temp ) sensor ? Also this article re. same part ,

" This is due to a known fault with the connectors at the coolant temp sensor plug which have been modified and can be retrofitted if you order the mod kit from Vauxhall."

EGR valves are another common fault nowadays . You can take them off and clean / free as required , usually works .
