2009 Vauxhall Insignia passenger seat belt audio alarm will not turn off when seat belt engaged

When a passenger is slow in engaging the seat belt the audio alarm goes off and wont stop for a good 5 min,
The same problem when the ignition key is left in and drivers door opend.
