Gearbox & Clutch
As above when the engine/gearbox is warm the service transmission warning comes on (Normally when going up hill at about 65/70mph) it drops down a gear.
When I pull up and put it into reverse it`s normally ok but when I then put it into Drive it thumps in?

Would get your transmission oil changed and see if that cures it before getting too involved
