Heater control problems

On starting and driving away no heater auto control indicators on, they come on after 25/20 mins then interminent,as though a loose connection.Any ideas?

That can be caused by low car battery condition and once driving for a while the alternator boosts the battery up a bit and it works . Could check your battery voltage after car lying overnight before starting

Thanks will try but battery about 3 years old,starts ok,no dim lights or other associated problems.
