Running/dipped beam bulb not working when I start the car

2014 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0 cdti
Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2014
Variant: 2.0 cdti
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When I turn on the ignition, the running lights all work perfectly, but as soon as I start the car an error message comes up saying that the running light and dipped beam bulb on the driver's side are faulty. It can't be a bulb issue as the the lights worked before the car was started.

Never assume anything with cars take the bulbs out and test on battery before getting too involved .
