Rev counter not working

Rev counter stopped working also engine management light is not coming on when I turn the car on like all other light they all come on then go off this one dosent come on at all

Could try checking / cleaning / replacing the crankshaft sensor . If not that , a diagnostic check should find the problem as fault code(s) are usually stored and can be retrieved by scanning
