Not starting gearbox wiring?

hi got a problem with my insignia .
ignition lights come on but go out when you turn key and wont start ,no gearbox indicator lights on dash ,will start by bridging starter motor .codes u0164 , u0101 , u0140 .c0561 . c0246 . c0055, p2032 . p068a .
when you bridge starter will start and drive gearbox wont change up or down feels like driving in 2nd/3rd gear p/n/r/d display not illuminated
have checked fuses and wires for rubbing broken wires corrosion etc all look fine gearbox ecu pins all look good
has anyone had this problem that can help ?
also does anyone have a wiring diagram for this year/model

A lot of those codes are indicative of a faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) but also too many with other possible causes to go through here .

u0101 transmission control module no communication (intermittent)
U0101 elec brake module lost coms with transmission control module (permanent)
C0561 system disabled invalid data (permanent)
Seems to be gearbox wiring or auto box ecu related

You sure you have checked ALL the fuses covering the possible circuits in the different locations / boxes ?

Checked them all again today load area ,under dash ,engine bay ,battery block ,only other thing not working on car is the boot lock switch .engine sounds fine runs well only light left on the dash is gearbox spanner one .electronic hand brake works but code still on .You sure you have checked ALL the fuses covering the possible circuits in the different locations / boxes ?

gather that the non starting with key is down to autobox not sending signal saying its in park and handbrake code not receiving signal from box for automatic release when pulling away .
had a similar problem with a astra h and was down to a broken yellow wire from rear fusebox down along side of car to clocks

what/where is the Automatic transmission neutral safety switch ? think it might be incorporated in transmission control module on top of gearbox

Probably right with the switch location , that set up is where it is in a number of different makes . The VX Tech 2/3 diagnostic programme would probably be capable of interrogating the TCM.and giving you a definitive answer . Electrics are not my best subject as I had auto electricians to do that work and left them to get on with it . Best of luck , hope you find it .Maybe update the forum once you get it fixed as it could help others ?

I have de the same problem.
ECM lost connection with TCM.
I use Ucandas diagnostic, et i can't have connection with TCM.
symptom : engine don't start, and before, performance reduced.
Did you find an issue ?
