2015 Vauxhall Insignia car shaking when starting

When I start the car it vibrates, this is a lot more severe on a cold start.
Garage admit there is an issue but say that as it only lasts a few seconds they cannot diagnose what it is.
Any help would be appreciated

Find a better garage!
First thing I'd want to know is the rail pressure,
Then the CTS reading.
fuel pressure and what the ECU "sees" as the engine temperature.
So as you see there are starting points for diagnosing.

Check / replace engine coolant temp sensor .
