Flat battery

2009 Vauxhall Insignia 2.0l cdti160
Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2009
Variant: 2.0l cdti160
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
After 4 days of the car not been started the battery has gone flat. I have had a new battery fitted and the alternater checked out OK. It has now done this 3 times since Christmas. I have had a vauxhall approved auto electrician do a drain test etc and all was fine and couldn't find any faults. Each time before it goes flat the alarm sounds for 5 minutes ( unable to silence with key fob ) but the hazard lights don't flash like it does if the car was being stolen.

I'm still thinking parasitic battery drain,
Though sometimes they can be a pig to diagnose.
Today's cars can test just fine but a longer test might show up different.
In situations like this first establish there is a drain.
Last one I did that was a much a pig as this needed to be monitored overnight on the oscilloscope to check for drain.
I don't know if your "approved spark" is this well equipped but it can't hurt to ask/check.
