Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2009
Variant: 2.0cdti
Hi
I went to take the car of the drive and as I was reversing of it cut out and would not start again,
The fuel pump is working
I have changed the fuel filter
I had the injectors tested with the tubes and the mechanic informed me the we not working correctly with the amount of fuel in the tubes and the car not starting, I had the injectors re-conditioned and re installed but they are reading the same on the test, any help wilould be greatly appreciated as it is costing a lot of money but not getting any further forward

Get a diesel specialist in.
if I read this between the lines you have had an injector leak back test done and it was low so you assumed the injectors were at fault.
The next test that OUGHT to have been done is the fuel pressure on the low side checked.
Just because you can here the pump means only that the pump is spinning,
Not that it's supplying the correct pressure or volume of fuel.

One of the most common causes of non start on that car is the fuel pressure regulator .

The mechanic has done all the tests on the fuel regulator and says it has enough pressure to start, I am lost now as we don't seem to be moving with the problem
