Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2009
Variant: elite 2.0 nav diesel
Categories: Running Rough, Starting & Power Loss
Car been driving fine no trouble, then one day would not start, after 5 turnovers car started and was on way, warning came on, service car soon. Took to my mechanic linked it up and had 11 warnings , but no engine management light, cleared them and all ok, drove it for 5 days no problem, went to start after a 10 min stop and same again took 4 turnovers to start, no engine management light but went into limp mode, drove it back to my mechanic linked it up 5 warnings all these warning were like insignificant electric/power to parts of the car, just like the first 11.Cleared these faults every thing fine for 7 days, short stop again started up took 3 turnovers to start limp mode again, no engine management lights. drove the car for about 3 miles and car cutout, no smoke , no rattles, and not over heating. tried starting car and nothing,it turns over but not firing just whirring, checked cam belt and that is intact, been told it as no compression. any ideas on this?....

There are no really insignificant codes,
If they are in there they're in for a reason so I'd need to read the codes.
And you state you checked the belt?
Does that mean you checked the cam timing?
So see if your mechanic? has checked the rail pressure on crank.
