2009 Vauxhall Insignia cold start

Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2009
Variant: 1.8 petrol manual elite
Categories: Engine & Drivetrain
Car tends to want to stall initiaaly when trying to pull away from a cold start. Dealership says this is normal, I don't buy this.

Dont blame you .If that was the case how many crashes would we have when pulling out at a junction etc from cold ? Might be worthwhile checking the engine coolant temp sensor and connection .This sends signal to ECU on how much fuel is needed , i.e more fuel on cold start ( like old choke )
