travel 90mile on m6 on sevice station notice water leak. filled with water done 60 miles to home more water lost filled up went to garage no further lose 6 days later still no water leak but not been on long trips, garage done test no water leak

Did the garage pressure test the cap?
They can and do fail.
and fail only when a high pressure is reached so just eyeballing it is no good.
Cheapest option is a new O/E cap from the dealer.
I've found aftermarket ones less than reliable.

just found out only leaks when towing caravan.some thing to do with scotch lock can system ecu stopping fan working right any one had this problem and what to do
