2010 Vauxhall Insignia engine stopped at 70mph and service vehicle soon message come up

Hi,
I`ve just recently joined the insider. I own a 2010 Vauxhall Insignia Sport Tourer 2.0 Diesel Auto(128). After the usual Insignia issues with whater pump, booster hose, tailgate lock in the last couple of years, last night, while cruising @ 70mph on motorway, engine cut off and "service vehicle soon" message come up.
Car rolled to a stop (being auto has to be in parking to be able to start the engine again)- very scary as heavy traffic. Pulled over to hard shoulder and started the engine again without any problem. Drove another 20 miles from there (approx 65-70 mph)and suddenly, same "service vehicle soon" message come up and engine would not rev above 1500rpm - for 5min and then cut off again.
Again - stopped, turned the engine on - no message showing and drove it home (another 10 miles) without any other incidents.
This morning I took the car to Vauxhall to have it tested. Again, nothing come up on the dash.
Anyone had this problem before? Still awaiting their call.

Best to wait for diagnose report from dealership where they will probably stick it on machine and see what codes are showing .

Hi, I had similar problem turned out to be glow plug number 3 faulty , replaced and cured

I have the same problem, Fuel pump changed but still happened. Has any one else found a solution to this problem other then the Glow plug.
My car is also diesel 2.0 lt 2012
