2011 Vauxhall Insignia boom,boom etc

My Insignia "Booms" . It happens all time ,whilst moving changing gear,accelerating,braking,opening doors and closing them and almost always when you park up and get out it will boom for about 4-6 seconds then stop.
I have no idea what's going on the dealer says they don't know either . It seems to be coming from under the engine near the back of the engine bay.

More info req,what engine exactly and frequency of noise ?

If it's still under warranty , keep at them to fix or get onto Vauxhall customer services for help .

It's the 2.0 litre diesel and the noise only occurs when the engine is up to temp. And unfortunately it's outside the warranty,the problem being is that it's difficult to predict when it will happen.

My 2ltr insignia has started making same noise when engine is at correct temp, it sounds like it is coming from behind the radiator towards the bottom, it only makes the noise when at correct engine temp (around 90) could this be something to do with the coolant pump or system? Have you got the problem fixed now?
