2010 Vauxhall Insignia brake disks cracked

My car has just been in for a service and they have noticed that there are cracks on the brake disks , the car is just under 3 year old and only done 21,000 miles. At the service last year there was no mention of cracks everything was fine, I have only done 4.000 since it's last service and feel there must be some issue with the car causing this. Can any one give me advice

Not enough information,
i.e. what colour was the rotor?
chances are it's blue,the colour steel goes when over heated.
and the only way I know of to do this is either your foot on the brake for too long or sticking caliper pistons.

Insignia VXR/OPC – A28NER Engine
Front Brakes – Judder and Vibration
Customer complains of judder and vibration of the steering wheel when braking.
This is caused by seized brake pads.
In case of customer complaint the free movement of the brake pads has to be checked.
If a sticking condition of the brake pads is found the brake pads should be removed. Clean the lateral guide and side surfaces of the brake pads with a suitable tool.
Lubricate the lateral guides with special lubricant (details below).
Note: Make sure that the friction surface is not contaminated with the special lubricant
A replacement of the brake discs or brake pads is only necessary if the “Disc Maximum Allowable Assembled Lateral Run-out – with Wheel Attached” is exceeded (see TIS2Web info) and steering wheel vibrations or brake juddering is detected.
