I currently have an 09 insignia recently the display which shows time radio extra has began to flicker quite badly sometimes it's impossible to read . This doesn't happen all the time seems to be when car is turned on a for bit then corrects it self (most of the time) I have been told the unit may new replaced but any advice would be welcome as I can't afford to replace the unit

you could check for a bad connection to unit if ok you could try to source a second hand unit there are also companys that could carry out a repair to your own unit

you will carefully have to ease unit out then check connector at rear but think you will find unit faulty there will be someone that can repair it for you or take a chance and get second hand one
