Car stereo not working

2009 Vauxhall Insignia 1.8 SRI
Car: Vauxhall Insignia
Year: 2009
Variant: 1.8 SRI
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My son put a 20p in the CD slot which is now stuck. The whole stereo is now not working as the system is trying to eject a CD (the 20p) any ideas how to remove this?

To remove the unit, there are usually small holes on the front where you have to insert special pins to release the catches that hold it in place.
Your local friendly Halfords store may remove the unit if you ask nicely!!
Once removed, you may be able to see the 20p and remove with fine tweezers. If not it will have to be sent to a radio/cd specialised.

No holes or pins needed for removal on this car .Too involved for Halfords to do FOC . This shows you how to remove unit then you can open it up and remove 20p coin .

The pins tend to be more for the older cars nowadays , everything seems to be harder to access or remove today !!
