1993 Vauxhall Corsa full beam wont turn off

Whilst driving my car i tried to go down to dipped headlights but my full beam will not turn off. I pulled over and turned all lights and car off but problem still happening, could it be a wire or something more serious, like lighting mechanism.

Could be column dip switch or possibly h/lamp relay .

probably the indicator switch as this does the dip/main beam
