Dont think the emission light would be caused by your water leak, a common place for the corsa to let water in is the seal around the brake servo, it goes hard over time and cracks, i used some silicon on my sisters car to keep the water out. you will have to remove the scutle panel, cabin filter inlet and the washer bottle and you then have access to the seal. Hope this helps.
