2006 Vauxhall Corsa radio comes on automatically on ignition

It's not so much a problem just something that's starting to bug me. Whenever I turn on the ignition, the radio/CD player comes on automatically. I was wondering if there is any way that this auto-on function can be turned off, some sort of key-press sequence or something. Thanks in advance.

there is a way to turn it off, it tells you in your handbook.
