2000 Vauxhall Calibra Problems

Hi, hope someone can help with this problem, my calibra runs ok for a while, then refuses to start which then results in a dead battery, after recharge it seems ok, then the same thing again (have new battery on)today noticed it was hot aft...

hi experts,im thinking about purchasing a vauxhall calibra,can any one give me any tips on which model to go for or any models/years to avoid and any thing to look out for when checking over b4 buying?thanks for your help
