Hi, hope someone can help with this problem, my calibra runs ok for a while, then refuses to start which then results in a dead battery, after recharge it seems ok, then the same thing again (have new battery on)today noticed it was hot after relatively short run could it be the thermostat? when this problem first started ie. not starting if I waited for 10mins or so it would start but now it wont sorry if I am not making much sense.

The problem you have described sounds to me like an alternator fault, you need to buy a new or refurbished alternator,

sorry for the bad news but it is the only way to sort this problem.
