SLIGHT BROWN MISTING INSIDE TOP OF EXPANSION BOTTLE FLUID COOLANT LOVELY PINK THOUGH. CAR SERVICED OIL CLEAN. CAR DRIVES SUPERB NO WARNING LIGHTS OR ANYTHING STRANGE. TOOK TO GARAGE THEY ARE GOING TO ORDER A NEW EXPANSION BOTTLE SAY HEAD IS OK, AND CAR IS FINE BUT IM STILL WORRIED. COMMENTS PLEASE. MY OIL COOLER IS BUILT IN TO THE RADIATOR ON THIS MODEL. HAVE BEEN TRYING TO CHECK OUT COST OF NEW RADIATOR WITH INBUILT COOLER INCASE AND CANT FIND BOSCH 0130 303 385 HT2 or GM 13207166 JUST INCASE NEEDED AT A LATER DATE. ANY ADVICE APPRECIATED.

There was problems with some cars / years where cars with the oil cooler in radiator developed faults and ended up ruing auto transmissions but cant remember exact details . Wouldn't .bother too much about slight colouring of header tank on a vehicle of that year , quite common on a lot of cars , especially if not losing any coolant or overheating

Hi got new expansion bottle been on a while oil misting started again. But after a short run and parking i can smell burning oil possible lifted bonnet have slight smoke from beneath the engine fan is it to do with the radiator which has built in oil cooler as automatic estate.???

You will have to check it out to see where the oil is coming from , be it engine oil , transmission oil or coolant
