Day after buying second hand car filled with £10 petrol, tried to put in more next day and it won't except any and petrol pump cur off. No warning lights coming on but petrol gauge shows zero. Surely it takes more than £10 to fill up.

Dont know of any car that you could fill for £10 , looks like you have a faulty tank unit Could ask previous owner if gauge is faulty .
