I have been told by a former employee that possible causes could be 1. Tank unit 2.ECU needing reprogrammed 3. Settings on US instead of UK. Best I can do to help .

Found this re. changing settings if on wrong setting , but is for Vectra but might be same .

Hi,
Do u know how we can change the trip computer to UK units, becaase I have measured mine and it seems to be set to US units.

Can't remember 100%, but...

> Turn the stereo off (with ignition on)
> Press 'Settings'
> Scroll until you come to 'units'?
> Change to UK
> Press 'Settings' again

Should be sorted.
