Skoda Octavia Problems

Glowplug light and exhaust light on and also diesel particulated filter light comes on and off from time to time.Also have had loss of power steering from time to time which says the ESC system error.

Engine produces a very harsh noise between about 3500 and 4000 rpm in all gears or when revved stationery. Disappers above 4000. Very slight similar noise at 2000 rpm. Doesn't seem to affect performance (no missing).
