you need to check the fault codes if any are stored,check the auto fluid level and condition as this can affect performance.

where do i find the fault codes and what are they for? also do you mean the automatic transmission fluid, power steering fluid or brake fluid??
only had the car three weeks, swapped my s reg vauxhal vectra with knackered engine, came with new mot and 6 months tax so hoping nothing too serious can be wrong with it x

i mean the automatic transmission fluid,you need to plug a code reader into your diagnostic socket and read the fault codes if any are stored as this might give you a starting point as to where fault lies
