Can select other gears when clutch depressed but still won’t go into neutral

So it will go into all gears and drive except in 3rd gear . Surely you have to pass through neutral to get to the other gears ? can you get it into 3rd when engine off ?

No stuck in 3rd gear constantly! Foot on clutch and start van up still in gear, clutch down try and move through all gears and still stuck in.
How do I release back to neutral?

Need to check gear shift selector / shifter / cable / mechanism to see if external or internal fault and anything causing it to be jammed . Might need someone to move gear stick while you check to see what's happening
