Renault Kadjar engine failure hazard check stop start

Needs scanned with proper equipment for fault codes rather than guess and spend money needlessly on parts maybe unneeded and not fixing the fault

Hi im going through the same warning light at the moment. Had it scanned 4 times by 3 different mechanics/companies. No serious faults come up. Had a solenoid repair and new battery and levels checked with oil topped up. One mechanic has queried timing chain but is independent mobile business so doesn't get involved in timing work, also same chap said maybe wiring so hoping to get an auto electrician diagnosis on it soon. It puts me on edge when it comes on but breakdown who came out to it twice seemed unphased and said if there's no new noises, changes in handling or loss of power they can't see any reason it needs to be dealt with instantly. Pain in the backside to keep getting it checked out/switched off.

I had this issue and eventually the the timing chain did snap. This was fixed for £700 and then had an issue with the valves in the engine, £900. Was later told this was the same fault as the timing chain snaps, it damages the valve and over time, these break. Was fixed for 1000 miles before coming back on. Ive got issues with the EPB not working when the engine is on and the battery does not seem to be starting properly.
